The cabins have bedding, and linens provided. Bathroom/showers have washcloths and bath towels. The kitchens and kitchenettes have pots, pans, utensils, gas range, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The water tapped from our sweetwater springs is cold and delicious! Outside, the cabins have a picnic table, charcoal grill and firepit.

Firewood is usually available for sale at the lodge.

Pets are allowed for a pet fee of $15 per pet, per night.  Common sense rules apply regarding aggressive dogs and excessive barking.  Pets are not to be left alone in unfamiliar cabin surroundings or chained to a tree while owners are away.  Dogs should be leashed, especially when other dogs or guests are present. Damage caused by pets will be subject to charges for repair or replacement of lodge property.  Consider other guests and clean up after your pets.

NRL requires a 50% deposit to secure reservations. Cancellation Policy states that reservation cancellations made within 30 days of reservation date will result in forfeited deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of reservation date can be charged in full.

Check-in time on arrival date is no earlier than 3PM. Check-out time on departure date is no later than 11AM. We ask that guests be considerate of other arriving guests and the cleaning staff that have a small window of time to properly prepare cabins for the next party.

There is no cable service or wifi provided at the lodge.  The cabins each have a ROKU flatscreen TV. There are a few local channels for a rainy day, but a mobile internet hotspot app on your smartphone will give access to your Netflix, Hulu, Roku and Youtube networks.

For the safety of lodge guests, property and cabins, all fireworks and discharge of any firearms are strictly prohibited. Loud music, excessively loud partying, obnoxious behavior and/or harassment of other guests is strictly forbidden. Please be considerate of other guests who come here seeking peace and quiet. Quiet time is 10PM.

There are gas station/convenience stores within a few miles. There is also a good range of grocery stores in nearby Luther, Dublin and Baldwin; all minutes away. There is a variety of bar/grill, restaurants and diners in the region. We will be happy to offer suggestions and point you in the right direction for your specific wants and needs.

In order to sustain a healthy population of wild and native trout along our managed stretch, we ask our angling guests to observe house rules of Catch and Release. All Brown, rainbow and brook trout are to be properly and gently handled with wet hands for a successful release. The use of single, barbless hooks and rubber netting is recommended for quick, harmless release

The Chinook (King) Salmon begin their migration from Lake Michigan as early as mid-July and usually begin passing by the lodge in mid-to-late August. The Coho Salmon arrive later in October. By early November, the salmon are gone, but the Steelhead will arrive in the river. They will remain in the river all winter until their spring migration peaks in April. By mid-May the Steelhead will have returned to Lake Michigan.

YES! Access to the nearest trail is less than a quarter-mile to the east of the lodge, and accessible from Old M63. The proper ORV and ORV Trail Permits are required and it is recommended that trail riders are familiar with the State and Federal Laws, as well as ethical Trail Etiquette and safety. We ask our lodge guests to avoid riding ATV/ORVs and dirtbikes around the lodge parking area and riding on the grassy areas.
